this is the album artwork for the new portishead album.
yes, apparently there is a new album. i hadn't heard anything about this, but it definitely rules. i'm on song 4; so far it has been very low-key, & i guess not as immediately depressing as the first two albums. here is a link to a review much more detailed than mine.

if i were able to make mp3's from cassette tapes, i would post a clip of me requesting portishead on the radio when i was in junior high. every time we would call the station, we would record afterwards just in case we made it on. i was the only one who ever did.
